Culturally Speaking why do some people crictize me for being more attracted to light skinned women?

I mean I don't have to like women of a certain complextion I like who I like and who I like is no one's business.I am just saying because yesterday me and my brothers where talking about how we like mostly biracial and light skinned black girls and my aunt got a little upset and asked what was wrong with dark skinned women and we told her that there are some dark skinned black women who are pretty but most of them are not and my aunt got mad at us for saying that.But my thing is why should I lie and pretend to attracted to someone who I am not attracted too.Even when I was a as young as five I preferred light skinned girls over dark ones. So how am I am colorist, my parents are light skinned, I'm light skinned my brothers are light skinned, most of my family is light skinned oor brown skinned, there are only a few people who would be considered dark skinned in my family. I am sick and tired of people trying to tell me I am a self hater just because I don't like women of a certain complextion.I asked my mom about it and she admittted that besides Taye Diggs, Wesley Snipes and Morris Chestnut she has never found dark skinned men attractive.SO what do you guys ththink am I right or am I wrong.
