Why is Obama's health care plan so unwanted?

It is wanted by many. the insurance industry and Republican politicians are afraid that there vast and I mean VAST income from the insurance industry is in jeopardy. No money = no return to elected seats in congress or house.This health reform in desperately needed and will be eventually ped in some form. The 1 payer system has worked here for years as Medicare.
