How do I look like fit guys on tv?

Im 5'6 150 lbs. Im a little guy. I have a small amount of well proportioned body fat that I would like to transform into muscle. I have very little muscle. My trainer says people would kill for my legs and calves but I think they're a tad big. Point - I want Justin Timberlakes upper body, or Zac Efron. I dont want to get too big. I just want to be toned, cut, and slim. More slim than I am. I diet do push ups ab exercizes light weight lifting and I jog with my dogs a few times a week to break a sweat. I try to work out 5,6 days a week. Any advice would be great.
