It was published within the last year or so, and written by Margaret Baake, a lady who was born about 1924 in Germany and educated and grew up in Germany during the Nazi era. She came to the US after the war, finished her education, and taught German for many years at Knox College. She's quite a lady! The question mark in the title to the book is intentional -- she and her brother were unaware that their mother was "half Jewish" until they were kicked out of the Hitler Youth.
