Christians 2nd Peter 3 and the first 3 trumpets?

The sounding of the seven trumpets occurs after the birth and death of Jesus and signal the begininning of his return. Therefore, a pre-historical event cannot be considered a 'trumpet' since it occurs even before the the birth of Jesus himself the 'first' time.
