ey ey eyyyyyy don't worry. and you should be angry with your friend; tell her you don't appreciate her doing that and it's really not helpful. doesn't sound like a great friend...tell him you're really sorry that she asked him and that you didn't want him to know like that. And then ask him to think about it. If he says no then that's just how it is; think about how awesome it is to be single, you can flirt and no-one cares, rather than dwelling on what you haven't got. I wasn't single last year therefore I spent most of christmas worrying whether or not he liked me anymore. So yeah, it's more fun being single I think:D
