Would this design work or am I a nutcase?

As a tank armor this is supposed to be light weight for air lifting. First as a base, you have a aluminium and magnesium alloy plate 5cm thick. Then 7cm of aluminium foam. After those, a layer of ceramic tiles 3cm thick. After that, a 3 cm layer of polymer, then 1cm of aluminium. Would this repel anything outside of small arms fire?
