Are drugs really bad?

I accidently drank some tea that my buddy had made mushroom tea with, i started to hallucinate. I ended up beating the bag out of what i thought was a leprachuan, come to find out it was my next door neighbor who is a real midget. Should i apologize to him or capture him with a duffle bag and keep him on my fire mantle as an ornament?
