How can i figure out whether its me or her?

okay, well i like this boy and he's like my best friend aswel as the boy im totally in love with, i went away with him and some friends last week and everynight we would all go and sit in the cafe and chat, and one night i got really upset because i didn't wanna get hurt and he saw i was upset and asked me what was wrong and i couldnt tell him but recently i told him tht i relised i liked him a little bit, and i just got a bit confused and now i wish i'd told him it was more than a little bit because all he said was oh, and also before he had this huge crush on one of my best girl m8s and she goes through boys like skittles.. but i'm not sure if he still likes her but shes already in a relationship. So what do i do?
